All bits have a precision ground point and cutting surfaces with extended spurs for faster cutting and a rust protective finish. All sizes are compatible with adaptors or checks with a built-in quick-release feature.
They are also impact rated and are ideal for both mains or cordless drills.
Flat drill bits are quite an old type of drill bit that can be used to very good effect over a range of applications. They are cheap compared with twist drills or auger bits, but the resultant hole is not as clean and the exit of through holes in particular is anything but splinter-free.
